Hmmm shadow could probably be giving a hint that he wants her ...and ?? And has good reason by getting to spend more time with her by finding a secret item on the island and because she knows archaeology and also wants to get to know her more ...
And as for sonic and the team they started to get worried for Amy they didn't see her for few days and they searched her house and kept the search until eggman came and they fought as for Amy was was tied up against the cave wondering what the hell does shadow want from her and why is he being so rude to her and flirty at the same Time...and most the time he would just sit in the cave and stay silent also he would just wanted to talk but waited for Amy he felt like he was going mad thinking about her and also having her scent there too so he would think ways to clear his thought and a plan to convince Amy to him and maybe get her to forget...sonic. And Amy didn't dear ask why she was there but was mad at the fact he just kidnapped her but for some reason never screamed for help ....she was thinking of escaping....but when shadow left .she had the opportunity and cut the rope and out of nowhere shadow choas controlled in front of her and pinned her to the floor giving her a glare and a slit blush the the position they both are in ...he and her both froze but he leaned Abit and the realized what he was doing and stood up look at Amy on the floor finding this awkward..he sighed and turned to face the other way and explained to her he need her help to find

A memory stone and Amy was a bit shocked and then realized why didn't he just ask instead of this hole shrade he just did he's stance and took his hand out and offered her a hand to stand but just gave him a sturn look witch made him guilty for not giving her anything to eat ...but to his surprise she accepted and he felt proud to this but as he was about to explain more ...stinks happened to pass by with knuckles talking about mosquitoes are actually vampires ...and Amy knew better than to tell but she knew if she told ...she might not get to know the real shadow..but as she was stink in thought shadow covered her mouth witch made her panic to a point she almost fought shadow ..he let go of her and she took a step back and saw shadow was face has a blush!?.. for now I'll end my story here but I hope you like it bc I'm needing to have rest now bc it's 1:18am in SA also hope love it ❤️🐾

You could start by having shadow pin her to that wall. You kind of already were starting to with him putting his hand over her hand on the wall just have him put his other hand on the other side of her.
You could have him respond bay saying. “I’m here for that date...” then have him leaning in closer “but first” then have him kiss her.
Then after that kiss Amy tried to protest and tell him to stay quiet because sticks is in the other room and shadow doesn’t care. XD

Maybe Shadow was sent by lyric and has to kidnap Amy so Sonic and friends will come and safe her and he will get his revenge but Shadow is secretly in love with Amy so he takes here to a different dimension and Boom Sonic and friends go after them and get the wrong Amy and boom Amy is now the modern Amy and modern Shadow was in love with morden Amy for a long time and planed to tell her on the day boom Amy took over morden Amy's place in the mean time boom Shadow got caught from Doctor eggman (not the boom eggman) and has to go back to his own dimension now Amy thinks that morden Shadow is boom Shadow and stays with him after a while Sonic saw how Amy acted differently and joked around that she might be from a different dimension and Tails got curious and teleported himself to the "boom" dimension Amy runs up to Tails and hugs him really tight later Sonic and friends found them together and were surprised to see a different Tails he said that he will bring them back their dimension but she refused to go because boom Sonic was not running away from her and now their is a big issue
So that's what popped out off my head and said that would be a good story and I hope you update soon because I love your art style
