This is a gift made for me a few months ago.Yes. QuickSpin can really kick some asses... Thanks for that nice picture!!!!
I wanted to colour it faster, but with my daughter in my arms, it's a bit hard to move the pen over my wacom... Anyway, I finally did it... Still no sure with the result as I don't know how it looks on others' screens. I wonder if it's too dark, too flashy, to blury, too much highlights, too much shadows... well, can you tell me how it looks on your screen??
I'll be out for most of the summer so might be my last post until september... If so, hope you guys have a wonderful time until we speak again!

I only have QuickSpin. Ok, in a few rps I did with a few friends, we created a few others, but my only real one is QuickSpin. Now, I am so eager to find someone who can build me a toy of her... I might have a friend that will when TFP Airachnid will be released.

I make Shapeways models. The most complex I've done so far is a Deluxe sized Headmaster for Universe Red Alert that converts him to Chromedome. It transforms though it's so small I don't really get to show off.
If you have a transformation scheme (one that works mechanically, mind you), I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. Or, if a customized Airachnid would suit you, I can model a head.
It takes me a LOT of time, but I love making custom parts. I'm working on Brainstorm right now, intending him to attach with a Classics Jetfire body. And my next one will be Fortress Maximus on a Cybertron Metroplex body.

Yep, Shapeways is a website that lets you print 3D models into a plastic like nylon material. Once painted, it looks like the genuine article. If you have any 3D modeling skills, I expect you could even do your own.
Check out my stuff over there, it's a good idea of just how crazy you can get. And they keep adding new materials, from highly detailed transparent plastics to ceramics, glass and now... RUBBER! Can't wait to make custom rubber tires for TFs!!

Les armes, le techspec meter sur le torse, ainsi que la tête (transformable) sont toutes des pièces que j'ai faites sur Shapeways.
Donc, quand tu auras le temps, fais un character model sheet de la tête de ton personnage, je verrai comment la tête d'Airachnid est intallée et je pourrai toujours t'en faire une. Restera que la peinture (et que je pense que tu t'y connais!)

Comme la tienne est bien fournie, je ne m'attend pas à ce que tu fasses un impact sur la mienne si rapidement.
C'est pour le challenge, en fait. C'est facile pour moi d'utiliser mon art pour faire des modèles 3D, par contre, je ne suis pas très habitué à recréer le style de la main d'un autre sur un modèle 3D. Donc, j'en retire aussi un bénifice

Bah, la place où commencer, c'est de faire un character reference sheet. En gros, une vue de face, une vue de côté, et un plan trois quart de la tête. Je bâtis le reste en 3D. Ensuite, faudra que je me trouves une Airachnid (j'en veux une de toute façon), la décapiter et voir comment on peut fixer la tête custom dessus. Les TF Moderner, c'est normalement facile, on dévisse le light piping et la tête se défait en deux pièces.
Mais bon, ça c'est du technique. La prmière étape, c'est de faire une vue de face, de profil et de trois quart. Quand tu auras le temps. Ça peut être un sketch sur une napkin, pas besoin de bien détailler

Hmmm pour moi, u blueprint c'est les plans d'une bâtisse ou d'un élément qui sera réalisé physiquement. Quoique le but final est un produit physique, dans le case de Shapeways, l'approche se fait comme si je bâtissait un personnage 3D pour un film d'animation, donc je préfère dire Character Sheet

Finishing art with a baby in the arm is astounding, as least I can't imagine I can handle both.
The coloring looks nice on my screen. It shows a realistic battle atmosphere and I love how the light of fire come out.

Thanks Lucy! And yeah... not easy doing both, mostly because I have to stop often my art to take care of the little miss, which is normal. But that makes my colors be less uniform... And each time I have time to continue, I need a few moments to be "back in the mood". But well, it's for a good reason

Caro, the colors are flawless. And no, i am not just flattering you. The colors on this screen are very clear and i dont see anything blurry or too much lighted or shadowed. You balanced very well the lights coming frm the fire and the way it reflects on her armor and the way she gets darker makes her look more menacing! O.O
