Description Prize art for *MerenSheritra

She asked for two ravens circling each other similar to my other piece: [link] . She also wanted the main colors be black and red and wanted a picture with a balance or looseness and detail. Because it is difficult to make black have many details (which would deteriorate the lighting in the piece), instead of focusing the details mainly around the birds, I focussed it on the blood.



I wish I didn't have to see this one go... I am in love with it so much...

I must admit that I love watercolor because of it's texture and look. This one is really cool. I think you did a great job choosing where to put the strokes to define the shapes and textures. The composition is pretty strong too, lot of great emotion to this piece. Great work. =3

All watercolor. I used a round paintbrush and a thin paintbrush, and I did do a bit of finger painting in some places.
