  Pescans are an original species owned by me, and they are part of the , a group destined for various creature designs.

Please read the information about this species and the rules of the event! All artstyles are welcome, as long as you follow the rules. I DECIDED TO EXTEND THIS EVENT FOR ANOTHER MONTH, SO UNTIL 20TH OF MARCH, ALL PEOPLE ARE WELCOME TO JOIN. IT MIGHT BECOME AN UNLIMITED EVENT IF IT GOES WELL ENOUGH.

-Short Species Sinopsis-

Pescans are a bipedal semi-humanoid species, with their body resembling the one of a bulky human with an angler-fish head and gills. Their body types can very, but they are mostly fit, because of their intense lives. They present sharp teeth and webbed claws, together with a strong tail. The body colors vary from individual to individual, since they copy the colors and models of other predatory fish. They also copy the form of the fins and tails of the predatory fish of choice. The bulb on their head produces light of any color you want, as well as the few small bio-luminescent spots on the Pescan's body.
Pretty intelligent, Pescans wear clothes made of algae, shells and other water-resistant materials. They are capable of crafting, swimming and walking, though they can't really run on land. Females tend to be a bit bigger than males. They also show signs of old-age, similar to humans.

Requirements/How to get a MYO

- One per person!
- Your account must be at least a month old and must have your own unique art!
- You must join the group, if you haven't already! The group will contain multiple open species, not just this one.
- You must share this deviation in a journal, poll or status update (must be new, not a huge list of events journals)!
- You must comment before making your MYO and receive confirmation! Then you can make your own design.

Rules

- You can sell/trade your MYO only once it is created. Just inform the new owner of the species.
- You can only gift your MYO if it has not been made. No selling or trading it if it's not made.
- You can finish your MYO anytime, even when the event has closed.
- You can commission someone else to make your MYO, just make sure they know it's for a species.
- You must await for your design to be approved before using them. You must correct any issues if you want them approved.
- No being rude, that'll just get you banned/blocked.
- If you make a design based on an predatory fish someone else has/is using, please try to make it as different as possible.
- Do not steal other people's MYOs.
- You can use bases to make your MYO, just credit and don't steal/trace anything.
- Please do thorough research into the fish of your choice to ensure it is a real insect.
