My little tribute to Megaman X. I have tried to give him a more realistic looking, but keeping his classic anime style. That's why I made a new armor design... see if you like it. The big picture has wallpaper size (1024).================
** BIG UPDATE ** ================
As I keep learning more, I look at my old pictures and find lots of errors in them. Most people would just take note of the errors, but you know I like image editing
Here is a brief list of changes:- Corrected proportions (feet are bigger, head smaller, tights thinner)
- Redesigned helmet to cover chin
- Eyes improved
- Light blue armor parts look more metallic
- Included some reflections in cannon and legs
- Buildings and horizon made brighter
- Reduced saturation a bit for more realistic colors

Actually I made this long ago, I like how it turned out but I spent WAY too many hours. That's why I didn't draw cars or people around. But I'm glad you like X himself hehe.

aaahh...this image brings back memories. i used to play a game called "Rockman X4" and there was a character very similar to this one (maybe it's the same? i don't know). very neat stuff

OHHH MAN! The thumbnail does not do this picture justice. The background is just so amazing, clean lines, and technical polish-- literally! The best part of this image is the literal polish on the surfaces. I like the way that even minor details like the lights on the sides actually emanate light-- I would have never wasted time adding a touch like that. I'm most impressed with the polish on the metallic parts of megaman, it literally looks iridescent-- what kind of brush did you use to pull that off? The only thing I can critique is that you got pretty lazy drawing a few bushes. The thumb on megaman looks sorta weird like the end thumbbone is longer than the base thumbbone. I personally would have blurred the background, or darkned it more to put focus on megman, but I'm aware that it has the drawback of conciously making the ebst part less prominent-- the choice is yours.
