This is a portrait of Daryl, my Creative Director at work! I'll be showing this to him tomorrow! Hope he likes it. I think it turned out really Tolkein-y.

Oh, I love this! Also, I think the magic or enchantment coming off of the blade, I think it would look beautiful in a metalic blue. But I love it anyways!

Lovely designs in this. Th intricacies of his clothing are done so well, and the elven runes are beautiful. The mix of realism and more abstract desigsn work well.

there's something about this painting that seems to be breathing fantasy. although the character's face is very mundane and he looks like someone you would run into on the street, the look of his sword (reminds me of the artifacts from HoMM 3

As always wonderful colors and a very "clear" view.
I am amazed as everytime about your wonderful textures.
I really would like to look over your shoulder to learn how do you make them.
Very impressive outfit and a fantastic background.
The only point that is bothering me is his height. Most drawn males are about 8 times their head and this one is about 6 times his head - so it gives the feeling that he is a very short male.

aw.. the glowing highlight is awesome.. ^^ but, I think you can make the shadows behind him a little bit darker, just to add depth..
