Description I loved the expression on this horses face, also his eye [link] in this reference.

In this drawing there are things I am pleased with, and some I am not. I am especially pleased with how his eye turned out!!

Looking very nice, but it feels like the details are too detailed, the contrast a bit too much.
I think it would look better if the whole picture was a little more flat.

I agree with you on this one! I do feel this doesn't work as well as many of my others, too dark. I think I put this one up mainly because I was quite pleased with the eye though.

To me it looks like the eye is reflecting an image, and that takes alot of skill.

thanks so much! I think you are the only person picked up on that! they are supposed to be farm buildings and foliage reflected in the eye !
