Description
this is actually a recreation of an old sketch i did a while back. Originally i drew it because a co-worker asked me why I don't draw pretty things... like flowers and unicorns....The lovely miss blue expressed an appreciation for the sketch so i thought this might please her.

I am pleased
but I must say there's just something about the pencil one. Maybe it's the gloomy greyscale atmosphere or the teeny intricate little hairs and details you can do with the pencil

and I am thoroughly pleased with your use of pink.
I think I'd like to see a rainbow in the back there though, that would be the cherry on top. Maybe a decaying rainbow...yes, I'm perfectly certain that you are capable of making a decaying rainbow

I would have to agree with you on the drawing point. I think pencil will probably always be my favorite tool of expression I've been trying to emulate it with a paint brush but it's just not the same. I spose practice makes perfect though.

I think you could get a lot of the same effect with paint.
Try using tiny brushes maybe
also if you're using acrylics, thin it down with water for finer lines. You're amazing at painting as it is already, I'm sure you could easily learn to replicate some of the fine details you're so good at making with a pencil

actually i used tiny brushes. some of them with little more than two hairs. I don't know if details are so apparent on the photos i take.
