It's been quite a while since I've last made a cal for auction, so here we are! ; v ; )//

Worked on this one in between designing some NPCs and customs. They're quite literally a little fella this time! Probably bordering at 5 ft which is the smallest cals can normally be.

I've been trying to work with more colour combinations, so I hope they turned out alright! <3

♦ A BIT ABOUT THE SPECIES ♦

Cal-dyre are creatures born from that which are broken, whether it be a shattered mirror, a broken vase, or even a broken heart. The destruction of such fragile items breaths life into these creatures, awakening them from a smaller, dormant state.

Cal-dyre, Cals or CD for short, are intelligent creatures that act very similarly to us humans. They experience emotions, form relationships, and hold dreams and ambitions beyond their current reach. They are also capable of human speech. One defining feature of these beings are the unique markings on the insides of their ears and on their tails. It differs from individual to individual. Another feature would be that they are creatures of magical power. With two 'forms', one of which is their standard state and the other of which is when using their magic, Cal-dyre are capable of summoning a unique, fractal-like pattern. It resembles the markings on their ears and tail and manifests behind them as a thin glass-like symbol. These symbols are known as a Cal-dyre's 'Mirror'. It triggers the magic that otherwise flows dormant in their bodies.
