At 1,030 feet long, she was the largest ship of her time compared to the Queen Mary's 1,019 Ft. and just a foot longer than her late elder sister the Normandie (1935) before S.S. France in 1962 (1,035 Ft) . When she was completed she was rushed into the war as a troop ship during WW II. But she would finally shine as a top class ocean liner after the war.

Sadly she is so scarcely documented, always in the shadow of her older sister, Queen Mary

She deserves a place in history.

I really love Queen Elizabeth a lot. Her fate was so sad.

Didn't she sink off the coast of China? Cause I remember her wreck starred as one of the many secret bases in the 007 Movies. I think it was "The Man with the Golden Gun"
