Karioitahi Beach - one wild west coast Beach with black Iron Sand. A popular beach for surfers.The green on the rocks is moss from some sot of fresh water spring/river seepage.

I did an internship for half a year in NZ 6 years ago. Went back to complete university but after living in NZ for one year and traveling all over the place it was hard to leave. I remember that it was virtually impossible to get an internship from over here in Germany. In the end I was lucky to receive a working holliday visa so I could travel to NZ and apply in situ. Otherwise I wouldn't have had a chance. I doubt it would be any easyer to be applying for a full paid job now in the current worldwide economic situation. Not meaning to sound pessimistic but at the moment that's how I feel.
