Description June-August 2006, ink pens and pencils

The fourth (first in chronology) illustration for Something to Live For by Accio Snape. It can be found on this site .

I'm not really happy with it, but as I'm not someone who redraws finished stuff, it's gotta be like this.

"Mr. Potter," he said from right behind him, just as he put a spoonful of raw rather than distilled dandelion extract into his cauldron. "We are brewing a basic warming potion. Any first year could do it. We are not-" he picked up Harry's cauldron and flung it against the wall, to collective gasps from the class – "I repeat, not trying to poison ourselves. Not in my class." His black eyes blazed with anger.

That is FANTASTIC! I don't know what else I can say about this one that I haven't already said about the other drawings, but I think you did a great job with this series of drawings.
Your pencil work is fabulous, and I really do like the strategic use of ink.

Well, I'm glad at least *you* enjoyed it, thank you dear It didn't seem to be very popular compared to some other drawings, which made me wonder, what I did wrong.

I don't think you did anything wrong! If it wasn't as popular here on dA, I think you can blame it on the new layout -- the frontpage design only shows two 'recent deviations' instead of a whole row of them...at least that's how it was last time I looked. Sucks. :/

Nah, it just needed more time, I think. The reception in the first days had me wondering a bit. I never get any comments three or four days after posting, but here it seemed to be the other way round
