Description Something for a story I once wrote way back in school; the story itself is long gone, but the sketch I used for this I've kept.

The Monolith stands in the middle of an immense field, surrounded by a low stone wall, with arches placed at certain intervals around it.

No one how old it is, only that it's HUGE, hundreds of feet high. It's one of several, placed around the border of a country that no one lives in--it's completely abandoned, but all of the buildings are intact. Maybe I'll actually write the thing again...
