Ehh, here’s Aaron and Nestor like you have never seen before. Now partnering up together, for the first time ever, in one unbreakable friendship! And they’re known to be just friends so to my following viewers, no crazy ideas here please! Anyhow, when it came to Aaron’s hair in this, I’ve been studying live-photos on his voice boy actor back from 1968, Teddy Eccles, and based the hair shape like that of Eccles. Yet I just hope Aaron doesn’t look similar to Disney’s Aladdin, but like I once said before and will say again, I guess that serves me right for turning Rankin/Bass into Disney. Plus, this was my earliest first drawing of Aaron & second drawing of Nestor way before I had a scanner, before I had my own DA account, & before I had drawn my “One Star in the Night” drawing. cartoonfan707.deviantart.com/a… , cartoonfan707.deviantart.com/a…
The main focus of my personal fan-artwork for Deviant ART is based on two of my favorite stop-motion Christmas Specials by Rankin/Bass: The Little Drummer Boy and Nestor, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey. My art version of these two are drawn in a 2-D traditional animated cartoon appearance other than Animagic stop-motion, based on an interesting idea I had with the 1998 film version of Rudolph. Plus, the characters in my version also have a bit more attitude, personality & character than they originally had in the specials. Anyhow, the certain type of art I’ve chosen is based on the exact art style of “Adventures in Odyssey” and “The Adventures of McGee & Me!” produced by Mike Joens & Ken C. Johnson, and “Kids’ Ten Commandments: K*10*C” directed by Ken C. Johnson & Richard Rich. It’s okay if none of you might understand what I’m talking about because these three Non-Disney cartoon series are spiritual, religious programs inspired by Bible principles
