Full view pleaseBalloon practice. Coloring them was a serious pain...each one took 5-8 minutes
I'm back in love with black hair! So fun to color =B.
And of course, I was listening to 99 Red Balloons when I drew this.
I like clovers. I've yet to find a four-leaved one, but some day I will.
Materials: Copic markers, airbrush for the background and grass area, white acrylic paint for highlights.
Time: 8 hrs.

Hmm I don't know what it is but the idea of red balloons is so tantalizing. I think you made the idea come to life in this picture.
This whole piece just screams "happy" to me... I don't know if that emotion was quite what you were going for, but based on the girl's expression it's either happiness or relief.
Overall, just wonderful. You really deserve the DD you got for this!

Oh I hope you do find a four leafed clover ^-^
When you do, you really need to tape it. Just get clear packing tape and you put one under it and one on top. But you have to be careful with the top piece. Any air bubbles and it won't keep as good, but if you get it right it will stay green for years!
Love this picture as well! The way you did her hair and dress is just beautiful! And she looks so happy and carefree, you did a great job.

I'm just starting to use copics....and I was wooonderin', how do you get those fantastic little white sparklies? I know there's a medium water colour artists use to seal paper that chips off after to reveal an untouched area of paper, is it similar to that?

love pic the balloons are so cute i've found a 4 leaf clover patch when i was in 3rd grade i still have one clover. the really wierd thing is i found a 5 leaf and 7 leaf clover last year in track!! it was really weird
