Description
So...yup.
The brightness and lighting was messed up during scanning, so the coloring looks extra crappy than normal.
I used Crayola colored pencils and markers--then I used my precious skin-tone copic marker for the skin...but that's all I can afford and its going dry.
Oh, and, yeah, I know. its cute. I did this on sunday in the parking lot of church.

Um...it's kind of a HUGE spoiler...but ill tell you somewhat (there is a huge make-you-cry part about this) because Gaara is a side character even though he becomes HUGELY relevant to the series...if you didn't know he became Kazekage himself out of a love that grew between him and his people...his father actually turned out to be good guy (kind of like the whole itachi plot twist ugh ugh that series is so friggin awesome)...and they were testing him...
and the sand is Gaara's mother's chackra/love mixed with gaara's born connection to sand. Shukaku, the name of the tailed beast demon that possessed gaara, had control over sand as well--so they assumed it was shukaku who was keeping gaara safe.
gaara, however, is no longer a host of the One-Tail because the atkatsuki (the bad guys) took it from him--killing him in the process. But then through another plot twist some old lady gives up her life for him and blah blah blah so gaara gets to live...
and gaara actually turns out to be a totally sweetie pie by nature! who would have believed it!?

Oh lolz... Kishimoto, no more upside down plot-twists like that. They have a decent surprise value, but they kinda screw the consistency of the plot. Plot twists are good used occasionally, but when they are overused, it can become annoying. What's so funny about the series in which you learn all that you thought about that was all false in the end? ^_-
Well, I guess I kinda grew averse to plot-twists because on how they have been overused in many different series, especially in crime genre.
On the other hand, though, the plot should not be too simple either.
But coming back to the topic, I've never really been a fan of that character, but it is undeniable that he came thorugh some really good development throghout entire series, even though he's more like a side character, not being a Konoha's citizen.

I agree. It feels like a FREAKING SOAP OPERA. Now there was just this new chapter about how the sage of the six paths meets naruto in a dream and then he says naruto has the chakra in him of the sage's son and like some sort of power infusion...
along WITH the demon fox AND the sage power AND the hokage power AND his mothers power AND other stuff AND...
kinda reminds me like how everyone hitches a ride inside Sora's heart (lol xD).
Plot should be balanced.
btw, totally random here, but Have you read detective conan? Its VERY good and interesting...without there being overused plots (well, for a while the individual crimes were getting a bit redundant but now they are quite enjoyable. There are like eighty volumes and counting and ive only managed to complete 50 so far...) and very enjoyable plot-twists! (DO NOT WATCH THE SHOW. the show just RUINS the beauty of the manga...omg...) I forgot to say it's a manga about a boy who lives in japan who is obsessed with Sherlock holmes. and he also solves murder cases and stuff as a private consultant for the police department.
but then the boy gets drugged and turned into a six-year-old little boy--yet his intelligence is the same as the sixteen year old he once was. and theres a bunch of stuff how he has to be smart to solve cases, but at the same time not drawing attention to himself (as a six year old solving murder cases) so he can hide his identity and keep himself and his family and friends safe from the bad guys who want to kill him. A lot of interesting stuff about Japanese culture is in it, too.
I don't even know if I HAVE a favorite character in Naruto anymore...all of them have become so developed and interesting.
Even the bad guys you still like at this point (and sasuke became a bit more tolerable but I still hate him)
I think currently my favorite character is the nine-tails. Just because he's a troll.

Well, okay, I haven't really watched Shippudden, I was only watching specific scenes.
Yeah, pretty much. There's just way too much retrospection, plot-twists and emotional intermissions than it should be.
Totally. He should just give him that Rinnegan and that would be fine.
That excess in the blood relations and consequently ninjutsus can become really confusing.
Just as much as the case with Sora, his 'incarnations' as well as the ones of Xehanort.
And as much as KH's plot has an awesome construction, many different characters stemming from one and having their own sub-plots makes things confusing. It is like the plot is divided into different sections rather than keeping a coherent conduct.

I can understand. Sasuke used to be my fav char, but all that his obsession with revenge and blindness for rationality made me dislike him eventually.
As for Naruto... uh, too hyperactive and childish. Sakura... hmm... too much tsundere, not my type of a girl ^^'
Perhaps I can say either Itachi or Jiraiya would be my fav ones. They are both dead though.

Sasuke went from cool to just plain lame. It is a pattern that like all of the girls fall in love with him, but im just like..."Seriously?"
Meh im not really a fangirl over any particular guy from naruto. Gaara just is my favorite character I love him so much almost like a brother, lol xD.
I think Sakura is tolerable...but NO SASUKE. Sasuke can go fall in love with Karin (anyway, that's what im hoping for...*fingers crossed, but sad that's its unlikely*)
MY favorite Naruto is gonna have to be hands down Temari...then Karin and Ino.
As for guys, I like Gaara and Naruto...
I dunno its hard to pick a fave. The girls are really the only favorite characters that stand out to me, lol
