Here we have my own take on Dipper and Mabel's parents; I did look up images to get inspiration in order to make my own version of them because there have been many incarnations of the Pines parents done by others

Alexander 'Alex' Pines (Dad)
Age: 40
Voice Actor: Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing (Friends))
He is a fun and laidback father, but when it becomes necessary he will take on a responsible role when raising his children
He originally worked as a software technician, but one day realized how unhappy he was with it so he got a job following his college minor: animation/graphic design
He is now a animation commercial artist as well as a freelance designer who occasionally works with major imaging companies, including people from Hollywood. He designs posters (advertising and movie), logos, and billboards; he's even done animation for cartoon and television series and video games

*he shares his love of art and creativity with Mabel
*he and his wife have been married for 10 years (the twins were born out of wedlock)
*he occasionally lets the twins watch horror movies as long as he's present and they're not too inappropriate
*he shares a love of ghost hunting and science fiction shows with Dipper
*he gets extremely uncomfortable talking about inappropriate things
*he has a phobia of snakes
*he plays video games with the twins
*he HATES mornings
*he's the one who cooks
*he is named after Gravity Falls creator, Alex Hirsch
*Alexander is deprived from the Greek, meaning "defender of the people"

Felicity Pines (Mom)
Age: 40
Voice Actor: Wendy Schaal (Francine Smith (American Dad))
She is a serious and overworking mother, but does learn to relax and cut loose once in a while
She is the principal of the twins middle school, which can occasionally be embarrassing and overbearing for the twins. As much as she loves her children, she does not give them special treatment when they're at school, but at times will go easy on them like when they get in trouble, instead of giving them detention she grounds them

*she shares her nerdy tendencies with Dipper
*she met Alex through a friend when they were 24 and have been together ever since
*she loves working with children
*she shares a sweet tooth with Mabel
*she enjoys reading and watching documentaries
*she loves carnations and begonias (which were in her wedding bouquet)
*she is a terrible cook, which is why her husband cooks
*similar to Dipper, she is self-concious
*she is a neat freak when it comes to cleaning
*she has a phobia of clowns
*Felicity comes from Latin, meaning "intense happiness"
