Sakura and Sasuke walked to the big building where the hokage lived.

“Let us pass, Tsunade wanted to talk to us…”, Sasuke said to the guards. They already knew the Uchiha boy and the girl with the pink hair, and so they let them enter.

Sakuras was lost in thought, she simply couldn´t forget about what had happended a few minutes ago…He had really kissed her! Okay, it might have been an accident, but why hadn´t he pulled away then? And what he had said about…”Kyah!” Sakura squealed with glee.

“Hey, don´t dawdle around!”, Sasuke took her hand and walked a bit faster. He didn´t seem to care about their little accident.

The two could already see the big wooden door, which led to Tsunades room, at the end of the peristyle.

The Uchiha opened the door, and walked inside, while his had was still holding Sakuras.

“So you´re finally here…”, Tsunade welcomed the both.

Sakura bowed. “Why did you want to see the two of us, Tsunade-sama?”, she asked politely.

“Here…”, the blonde hokage showed the shinobi two chairs, “sit down.”

They did what Tsunade ordered, and listened.

“In our village were seen many unknown ninja…we believe that there´s a conspiracy against us.” The face of Tsunade, who had stood up, looked dead serious.

´That´s true…´, it shot through Sakuras mind, ´there were these strangers in our café last night…´

“But we don´t know if it´s Orochimaru who is behind that…or one of the other countries. So…your task will be to collect information about those ninja, where they are from, and why they are here in our village.”

The blonde hokage turned around, and looked at them warningly, “But whatever you do…”

“…remember that you are spies, and don´t act imprudent. ”, the hokage portended.

Sakura and Sasuke nodded.

“But…” Sakura stopped. She knew that Naruto couldn´t join the mission. Though he´d love to, she thought, but he was simply too…loud.

“Alright then, you´re gonna take up your mission after the firework festival.“ Tsunade ordered.

´The firework festival…that´s the day after tomorrow! And I still haven´t bought a kimono or found a guy to go there with me!´

“Hmm, maybe ask Sasuke-kun?”, the inner Sakura suggested.

´He´d be the only one I´d really wanted to ask… but what if he says no?´

“Then Naruto maybe?”

´He´s gonna ask Hinata, he already told me about it!´

“Neji?”

´Don´t you think he´ll ask Tenten?`

“Shikamaru?”

´He´s gonna go there with Ino, you´ve already forgotten that they´re dating each other?´

“Kiba?”

`…`

“Rock Lee?”

´…´

“Choji?”

´…nope! And don´t tell me you´d like to go to the festival with one of those guys!´

“Alright, then I guess you gotta make Sasuke-kun go there with you.”

“Okay, that´s all, you may go now! Good luck!”, Tsunade smiled.

The two stood up and left the hokages room. They didn´t talk to each other, until they arrived at the park. It was the pink haired kunoichi who broke the deep silence.

“Uhm, Sasuke-kun, I wonder if you would…”, she suddenly stopped.

´What if he´s gonna say no? What if he´s gonna reject me like so many times before? What if…?´

“If I would…?”, he turned around and gave her an inquiring gaze.

“if you would want to… ah, it´s nothing.”, she looked at her feet, while playing with the tuck of her shirt.

“…hn.”

He silently took her hand and walked on. “I´m gonna take you home…”

Sakura blushed a bit, “thanks Sasuke-kun”, she said.

They went through the city, passed takeaways, lots of different kinds of shops, also the school where they had once been, the famous rocks with the hokages, and finally reached the pink haired girl´s apartment.

“Thanks again!”, she smiled as she entered the house.

“No problem”, he returned, and also smirked a bit.

“Erm…do you wanna come in and have some tea?”

“Sure, if I don´t trouble you…”

"You certainly don´t!", she smiled.

Sakura and Sasuke went into the apartment. “Here, just sit down and make yourself comfortable until I´m ready with the tea!”, she pointed on a sofa and went into the kitchen.

“Thank you”

After a small lull in conversation, Sasuke looked around, and then asked her, “do you live here all alone?”

“No, I´m sharing the apartment with Ino…”

´…but she´s not here at the moment because she´s having a date with Shikamaru´, she continued in her mind.

“Okay, here´s the tea!”, Sakura sat down next to Sasuke and handed him a cup of tea.

“This would be the perfect moment to ask him because of the firework festival!”, the inner Sakura cheered, “Come on! You go, girl!”

She worked up the courage, and asked the Uchiha boy, who was sipping his tea, “Sasuke-kun, what I wanted to ask you before…would you like to…Whoops!”

The cup of tea slipped off her hand, and all the hot tea landed on his shirt.

“I..I´m so sorry!”, she jumped up, got a rag and started to dab on the wet blotch on his chest.

When she looked up to his face, she was sure that he´d be mad, but all she saw was a slight blush on his cheeks and his widened onyx eyes.

“I..”

“Shhh…”, he put a finger on her lips to prevent her from speaking. “Don´t worry, it doesn´t matter.” He was almost whispering.

Slowly, their faces approached, until their lips met…
