Was originally going for an American Gothic feel for these two, who I thought had some pretty good chemistry in some of their teamups early in the Future State thing. Pictured it as though he's showing her his grandparents' farm. I stopped sketching and started coloring *way* too quickly on this, and I think if I ever tackle these two again I'll try to refine their costuming and proportions better.

For Yara, I tried with a 'thicc Chel' vibe (never a bad idea). I tried to give Jon a slightly slimmer, more youthful look to distinguish him from Clark. IMO, it's a shame this pairing never went canon and instead we get the adventures of replacement Clark and the impervious-to-harm Lois knockoff. . .
