Since it's first day of the month I've decided to post my own Meet the Artist meme submission. Been working on it all week because even usually I see digital artists', and I wanted to get the best quality I could offer. I even used the super nice pens I got for Christmas five years ago for the first time. I haven't inked a picture in ages, but I used techniques for shading and a careful hand for outlines. I also tried to make my words legible, but I have small handwriting sometimes, so I'll make a transcript soon for all the little notes if necessary.

Almost couldn't pick a color for my shirt, but chose brown over purple because even though I wear purple the most, I really like how I look in brown.

Mini-notes, clockwise starting at top (in case you can't read my small print):
*don't often wear all three pairs [of] earrings
*haircut finally back to "normal" after a haircut that ended up a bit too short
*same $10 watch style since very first job - replace[d] every few years because it dies
*boot-cut jeans that fit at the waist, but seldom look better than baggy around the knees
*rings that I hope will fit again someday
*twenty-somethingth art book in my collection
*string of beads connecting zipper to loop on the pencil bag
*size 10 (very few shoes because not many to choose from [at stores])
*usually matching white socks, but sometimes coordinated mismatch socks
*often wear earth tones or muted colors, rather than bright colors
*almost always smiling
