Holy Crap!!! Do you ever spend too much time on a project? I wanted to finish this over a week ago but I just kept adding to it and adding to it and adding to it, until finally I came to a point where I was sick of it and didn't want to do anything else to it!! I wish that I would have put something in the upper left corner, it seems so empty and (I think) throws off the whole composition of the piece (Now that i've pointed that out i'm sure everyone will notice it, if you haven't already).Anyway:
God of War fanart.
10 hours, Wacom Tablet
Photoshop 7 (which I am actually getting sick of...Might be time for an upgrade to CS),
and 3d studio Max 8 for the still-half-assed background. At least I made one though.
I'm a huge fan of the game and i'll actually give a shout out to my boy [link] for telling me about the God of War art book, and for drawing his sick ass piece Reborn [link] which pretty much inspired me to do this!
You da man bro!

I'm working on a lot of side projects right now personal and paid freelance work. So doing a collab would be cool i'm just busy at the moment.
Married life is going great, it's a little the same but there are definitely differences in our relationship, but definitely all for the better.

I actually find that your choice of color made it that your composition isn't bad, your colors made it that your attention is focused and stays focused on the face area until your mind says "ok, look at the rest of the piece".
It's good that you didn’t add something in the upper left corner, because I find you would have made it too busy.
All in all, This is a great piece! I'm a fan of the character and I find you gave him justice, you're 10 hours were worth it.
