Pokedex Entry: Namerian Hippowdon are very lazy pokemon. They prefer to stay in lava puddles they create from the lava coming from their backs. Many beginning trainers stay away from these pokemon fearing they might not be controlable. These pokemon are more quickly tempered if they get too hungry. Scientists are still trying to figure out why Namerican Hippowdon have different types related to their gender. There is a theory suggesting the two Namerian Hippowdown are actually the ancestors of regular Hippowdown. During ancient times the males would use their lava while the females would then release their water thus creating new land. Over time there was enough land and Namerian Hippowdon weren't needed anymore, thus slowly becoming ground typing pokemon.
