I've been working on this piece for a couple weeks now, and I just wanted to get in my gallery for the time being. I'm hoping to be done with it by the end of next week.Anyway, this is my take on the west wing scene from Beauty and the Beast. It's not the Disney version, although I suppose my Belle and Disney's Belle look similar. However, I decided to modernize the fairy tale a bit and set it in the late 19th century - hense, the ornate oil lamp Belle is holding.
