Description
This is something that I'm currently working on for a local portrait competition. There's still a lot of work to be done on it, but I think that I'm reasonably happy with how it's turning out!I'd appreciate any feedback you might have on how you think it's looking so far

I don't think you have much to be worried about here.
I'm guessing you've been working on this almost obsessively and are starting to notice little inconsequential mistakes. You've got a photo you're comparing it to, right? And it's pissing you off that your drawing doesn't look exactly like the photo. My high school art teacher (who was awesome) always used to tell me that when you're so angry with a piece that you can barely look at it, that's how you know it's almost finished.
Of course, you said this is only part of the picture, but I would consider this part finished.

I have absolutely nothing to critique here - this is amazing. The dreadlocks look great, as does the shading on his face. Can't wait to see the finished version!

The only thing i can write about is his t-shirt... Edge of the sleeve looks less realistic than rest imo... It's a bit darker skin or something o_O

Wow, I can't say that I'm going to be very "helpful" on this one. This is amazing. The lighting is brilliant and the sketch is "photo real". I can't wait to see the finished product.

Wow, this is amazing! The shading on the dreadlocks and face is great--very realistic. I rarely ever see a profile portrait that looks as good as this one.

Wow! A strong picture. Something irritates me the elbow. Something is not correct. Perhaps lets you the arm fall downward.
