First of all, the long message caught me off guard and I fell of the bed. Tragic of me. XD
Now for the answer. You're actually not the first person said this to me. I guess I never truly thought about Krik's skin color because I never looked into the comic that deeply. Maybe if I actually took the time to go over and analyze the sections with him, I might see it too. Unfortunately, I am lazy. That sums up my only reason I haven't pretty well. Also, I don't know what other distinguishing characters that are obviously black, other than that guy in the coffee shop, so I'm more than happy for someone to point out the details. And especially share their opinions on characters.
A more basic reason than the other for why Krik is white in the drawings I do: I'm a dumb white girl. Might as well have a dumbass white guy to hang around in my head and to talk to, despite how people are staring.
Ironically, I am a Jimmy fan as well. And I have fallen in the Mmy/Nny crowd but can't bring myself to draw it. I used to have an attraction but that died into the same feeling I have for all my favorite characters: mutual tolerance. I like him but I don't LIKE him anymore.
As far as his original hairstyle: dreadlocks...just b/c it would look horrible/funny on him...& I like to amuse myself.
And now I want waffles...curse it all.... >.<

Ooh! Neat! But, if this is a line-up of revived-from-the-dead characters only, why is Tess there? She was flushed with the remaining fragments of reality right after Krik and the Wall Beast fell into the abyss, but I'm almost certain she got revived with the rest of reality, considering she wasn't ACTUALLY killed by anything like Krik and Dillon were. Or are there more than just revived-from-the-dead characters here? Either way, good job!

I like you. You think your stories through very well. And yeah, there were more than just revived characters in the story. Gah, but now I'm lazy and don't know if I'll ever write the thing. *sigh*
But I thank you for the review and insight all the same. It's nice to know someone noticing this piece. :3 Made my day!

Aw, thanks! Now I feel all warm and special!
Krik: Special you are.
Awww...really? Why that's.....sarcasm, isn't it? *glare* Hmm....maybe I will try to write it again. Look what you started! XD

Well, I can't wait to see! And if I had to imagine a fitting bit in Hell for Krik, I could imagine him trying to impress a group of women in Hell by saying an unsightly number of chauvenistic remarks and innuendo, only to find out that they're a bunch of EXTREEEEEEME feminsts (misandrists, more likely), and be promptly stomped, slapped, and pepper-sprayed into oblivion, only to repeat it again at another time!
