Description As a further and more ambitious sneak peak into the world I'm creating, I took yet another crack at making a concept. Building on the Oasis Heights picture I did, as well as Archer sippin' some wine living there, this is a shot LEAVING Oasis Heights and going back into the city. As the year goes on, more details will emerge .

This was about a 3 hour 30 minute job.

Try as I might I just cant seem to catch your stream, can I? Even when I anticipate it. Ah well, the end results and the speedpaints are still pretty compelling. I think I've got a pretty good feel for the geography of your world now. I'll say in more detail another time. And yeah, just over 3 hours? It took me 3 days to do my last landscaping piece like this! People aren't underselling that to you!

Well thank you. I try to put the word out when I stream! I'm getting critiques from time to time on these so I can improve as quickly as possible. The colors used and perspective are the biggest thing to track in concepts from my experience.

Dude, 3 hours and 30 minutes? Seriously? You're making the rest of us look bad

You should post more speedpaints, I'd love to see how you make these landscapes as I'm trying to get into a more painty style anyway!

Thank you. Eh, don't get caught up in the time amount so much. Do it until it's the way you like it. I could keep going on it for days if I wanted. Most of the brushes I use are basic Photoshop round brushes, but there's 1 or 2 custom ones I like from a brush set (use for clouds and trees). I can't remember which ones though.

Yeah, I guess that's the problem. I'm such a perfectionist, I end up spending an hour finely tuning the tips of the fur or something dumb like that . Can't change myself though!
