Description

Umineko vs Homestuck

Havent yet finished either of them, so this are a bit incomplete. Heres what i got for now
Two young protagonists of incredibly long indie works who are in the beginning more comedic in nature (Battler being very prone to joking and making perverted things and John making many references to bad movies and failing in lots of shit) tho still at times clever (Battler having a great intellect and analytical skills that allows him to win in debates and John having clever problem solving moments when trouble happens and being knowledgeable of the game mechanics) who, after they and their loved ones enter a game of sorts and get trapped in it by accident (Sburb because John and his friends played it without realizing of it's effects and Beatrice's Chessboard because Battler's stubbornness towards his denial of magic angered Beatrice), they basically enter a near impossible to escape hell, watching all of their friends killing each other and reviving non-stop in an endless cycle/time loop of life and death.
They meet a strange cast of non-human characters (Witches and Trolls), with some allies and some enemies
The journeys they go though become considerably weirder, involving to basically going through different timelines and universes and even affecting the plot of their series, with things like characters that could be considered authors of their reality
They, while starting weak, mature more from all the shit they go through and gain abilities that made them capable of fighting back against this reality breaking beings, becoming basically godlike (Battler gaining control of the Chessboard and getting Endless Magic and John becoming the Heir of Breath and getting Retcon powers)
Both finally get to end the game and create a new universe in which they and their partners can finally get a happy ending after everything they went through
