Another pic from MCM London Expo May 2011 last weekend! :'DWhile the rest of the group still hadn't shown up yet, I encountered in a Wolf Link quadsuit made by ! We spent quite a while trying to high five, mirroring each other, and jumping ^^ It's more fun than it sounds!

because I'm not even out of highschool, so I can't pay for the materials myself, and my mom would NOT be happy funding such an expense.... Three more years and I can do whatever the frick I please... And when I get in college, I have THREE cosplays I must do: Midna (true form), Edward Elric, and a quadsuit of some random pokemon (not sure which. probly one of the eeveelutions)

I already have a Link cosplay, but I had someone make it for me, so I honestly don't think it counts... I think that I'm just going to add onto it over the years until it looks completely accurate. After that, I'm gonna start workin' on those three with my own bare hands. It'll be so fun~

It's fun, believe me! At times making the cosplays yourself might be a tad frustrating when you're stuck, but once you're at the con wearing it it's all worth it ^^

I know! I already know that hard work is worth it, I've been through too many similar experiences to not know that by now XDDD But there is ONE itsy bitsy problem.... Wait, make that two.
I don't know how to sew. Even with a sewing machine.
Where am I gonna find furry fabric for a quadsuit? I've never seen that stuff before o.O

Well, you could always learn xD Through making my cosplays I've actually learned a heck of a lot about sewing. And if you just search 'faux fur' on the internet you should find plenty! You could even find somewhere near you by adding your general area to that search :3

thanks for that tip! *sighs* wonder which cosplay I should tackle first when I get to college, though. I think Midna's would take the longest, but it seems like such fun...

I would have thought the quad take the longest, but there you go. If you wanna get better at sewing I'd suggest tackling the one which shows the least seams on the finished thing?

Well, the quad would be hard, but I don't think it would have as many details, since I plan to do a eeveelution of some sort, thus it probably wouldn't take the longest.... But as far as the least ammount of seams go, maybe that'd be the quadsuit...?

No, the quadsuit would have more seams than you expect xD It's the body that takes a lot of seam sewing.
