Discovered it is difficult to take photos in the fog. We had a very dense fog that lasted half the day. I thought, perfect time to go out and take photos. Unfortunately, very few photos turned out. Mainly the ones like this where there is something in the foreground.Any recommendations for taking photos in the fog are much appreciated.

Fog always adds this outworldly feeling to pictures and to reality as well.

a lovely shot Heather. Sometimes it does help to have something up close in fog as the vision fades away pretty quick. Having said that you can take a photo with no focal point in fog and go for something really vague but you have to use manual focus for this kind of shot.Β
I like the way the trees in this give depth as they fade away into the fog
