The little orphan girl had been a bit worried about her new life - the sorceress who had agreed to take her in as an apprentice seemed rather stern. She had no idea what wonders were in store...Done for =pagantribalart 's monthly theme of "training"... I am sure I'll submit it elsewhere as well!

I know it will be a lot of trouble because of all the different stocks you used, but my daughter would love to hang this in her room. This is her favorite of all the deviations that have used one of her pictures. If you could manage to get it approved as a print, you would be guaranteed at least one buyer.

I am currently going through them all one at a time to see if I can get approval from people! I was going to tackle this one next; I just didn't want to overwhelm the poor prints people with 10 or 12 emails from people on different pics!

Absolutely - i think the original Pegasus (and i did probably comment on it in this vein) is the best peice of work you've produced.

I love it! What effects did you use to make it glow and give it that velvety look?

A combination of adjusting the contrast and saturation and also duplicating the layer/s and setting the new one/s to overlay. Then you use gaussian blur on the overlayed layer.

Do you use photoshop? It's one of the different blue options that is available. I like the effect it produces.
