Description Well, I'm actually stuck in bed, on my belly, since last monday (5th of June) I had a sacrococcygeal cyst surgical removal... I'm so fuc**** bored and actually can really really do NOTHING. Every move it hurts. So here I was messing around, I've build a kind of bed-desk to put my pc and all the things I need to draw and paint. It's really unconfortable for my neck and back, but I can't stand another hour doing nothing.
So here it is what it came from this akward situation and this absolutely unconfortable position.

I used watercolors and a straw.

Thank you! It's a pity I can't show it to you the physical painting, as most of the color faded due to the scansion.

ebbene questi fiori son pericolosi assai con essi si possono produrre sostanze in grado di allucinare e lasciare stralunati e contenti

Thank you! The watery blend is the result of a wet-on-wet technique, it is not so difficult if you wanna try it... It's just a bit unpredictable but the result is always worth it...
And I am not convinced about the ink... I always use it in my watercolor paintings, but this time I wanted to leave it free, din' really know why...

I'm still laying in bed but I'm getting better day by day...

However thank you again also for the fave and the watch...

And sorry for being verbose but it look like I have too much free time...

with me drawing characters for the most part, I need defined lines and wet on dry work else I lose all definition and we end up with aliens XD
diluted ink (with tons of water) works for me as a mean to lomit lineart from natural objects and just provide the shading before I go in there with the colors ^^

my kid is sick too, so I'm stuck at home as well XO

no problem ^^ exchanging about art is usually really productive ^^

Well, I don't think you'll end up with aliens xD but sometimes low definition helps to express more... It depends on what is your art purpose...

However hope your kid is getting well! best wishes!

imagine heads the size of coins XD enoguh simplifying going on there as it is XD haha
I do use this flowy technique for all sort of gradient shading ^^ goes well with sharper shading for precise shadows :3

she's alright again, thank you very much :3
