A dragonfly I saw while in California last year, pausing momentarily on a fencepost, barely long enough for me to get one pic before she was off and hunting again. As far as I can tell, this particular dragonfly is a female "little blue dragonlet" (only the males are blue); the internet has been a bit confusing in helping me identify the species. Hell, I'm just glad that I got the pic; these things are rarely still for long, and they're fast.
