About the Drawing, i.e. Ramblings

Ardis is one of my original characters from a story that I probably will never get around to writing because too many ideas. Originally her name was bean, a bad inside joke on my part since Ardis is a banshee (beansidhe or bean sidhe in Gaelic). Originally her story was set in the modern era. But I changed my mind about that after reading a couple historical romances/period dramas. I really enjoy period dramas, Downton Abbey is one of my favorite shows. So I decided to take her story and start to put it in the 1910s. I don't know exactly when the story happens, but it's more toward 1913-1914 probably. I'm still doing research when I have the motivation to work on her story. This drawing was fun to do since it's the first time I franken referenced. I decided to start out small and slowly work myself up to doing larger multiple reference art pieces.
