Description

After finishing up her time in the Imperial Military, Squad Commander Sgt. Walker (retd.) gets engaged to her former Epsilon Delta Heart Squad teammate, and fellow Squad Commander Sgt. Shade (retd.)

They had bonded over their backgrounds of being from nomadic clans before joining the military, yet the details of which clans were never really brought up. Sometime late in her career they were put in a situation where Walker ended up saving Sade's life at the cost of her arm. That incident seemed to cement their relationship and caused them to want to spend the rest of their lives together. Yet fate had other plans. Turns out Walker is by Shade's clans definition a warlock. His clan is also some of the most hardcore warlock hunters that ever existed. This was discovered by Shade when he walked in on Walker communing with he Patron. Walker's clan never had a definition, let alone, a word for warlock so even if it was brought up she never would have had the opportunity to say if she was or wasn't. Be that as it may, Shade used his last act of love to give her one and only one warning, "If our paths ever cross again, one of us is being buried six feet under in a pine box." He then left, never to be seen again. When she got home, she saw his keys on the table, his gun safe empty, SIM card snapped in two on the table, bug out bag, and car gone (more then likely whatever tracking systems disabled).

I call kind of consider this a spoiler, only because this is probably going to happen in Vol.4? Though I only really have 1/3 of Vol.1 posted, and up to about 1/2 of Vol.2 written. Looking at what I call my "Crazy Board" above my desk some things may have two titles. E.G. Epsilon Delta Vol.4 or Shadow Moon Vol. 1 (another little spoiler there, sneaky buggers). As much as I want to do things in some sort of order, there maybe some times where its just going to turn into one huge messy puzzle, and I hope all the pieces fit.
