Done in Open Canvas (as usual...)Sorry, more ToR fanart.... bwahahahhaaaa~~~~ *dodge flying bricks*
The lines seem to went all weird after I've shrink the pic (original was 1800 x 2600...) *dies*
Anyway, this pic is inspired by the prologue of the game (where the sudden awakening lead to Veigue's force going into rampage and as a result, without intentionally doing so, he has sealed Claire within a block of ice)
Quote: "But no matter what I do, I couldn't break the ice. So the only thing I can do was to sit there and watch over her..."
Poor Veigue.... I really want to give him a hug when he said that.... the ice didn't just trapped Claire, it also trapped Veigue's heart, as he never opens up to anyone after the incident.... *sigh*
Oh and apologies for my pathetic attempt at drawing ice.... I've tried.... T_T

So what I"m trying to figure out is (since I never played Rebirth and I'm still looking for it) how did Veigue release Claire from the ice? Cause I recall Eugene and Mao coming to fetch him and that was all the gameplay I remembered O_o;; The artwork is really nice though I like it x3

It would have been sadder if Claire remains that way throughout the whole game, but thank god that didn't happen. It's cute to see Veigue and his one track mind with anything to do with Claire.

I guess this is your newest obsession? OMG, this is so freaking cool! I remember from the original sketch, and turned out great! I cannot help but faving this (tho I think the girl on the back needs more contrast)

Somehow I think this game is made for girls.... (hell, I think the "Tales of" series have a much greater female fan base than male.... there are just way too much room for fangirl imagination in them....)
About the contrast thing.... yah you're right.... I made the mistake by putting the shading for both characters on the same layer.... x_x I shouldn't have done that... stupid me *dies*

Ah, itś not a problem, I know you work with PS. Just apply image---> contrast with the selection over the girl and voilรก! Maybe adjusting levels would be good too. Just try, it will make a difference

Ohh, it's wonderful. I think the ice is pretty good, actually. It would have been nice to put more of those spikey-ice-thingies that protrude from the ground, but I think it's stunning.
