--- yay another one!
Axel again- this time it says No.8 cause he belongs to the infamous OrganizationXIII and he's No.8 of the 13

I hadn't decided if I was gonna color this one or not until I just started messing around but I think it turned out okay

I sketched this one right after I sketched the other (the red lineart one)
I'd done this pose maaaaaaaany times, because I had always wanted to draw Kato with his cloak on; hehe figures the one time it works it's someone else! I also got the privelidge of seeing someone else do a fanart of his hood up so that helped me figure out how to it (his hair's insane!)

I added the beads and zipper last minute- I originally had intended to just crop up to his shoulders so I didn't have to deal with the rest (cause it's such a pain to draw! let alone color!)
But knowing me, I happened to draw a mini sketch of his weapon right by his face and didn't have the heart to remove it. So I just drew everything else by mouse.

I'm glad because I definitely feel better about my shading jobs. Like the curve on his cheekbone; I was actually staring at the pic and thought I saw the shadow- only to later realize there WASN'T actually one there o.O so I added it; and it was perfect yay (so I THINK that's a good thing...then again.....seeing things= not good)

I'm really glad his hair worked out- I've been coloring it like a different shade everytime I draw him, but this finally seems closest to the real thing. I also had drawn his hair in the original copy and then made the hood up after, so at least I knew it would fit over that spike-head of his. hehe actually I like drawing his hair- his hairline's just a bit difficult sometimes.

as usual the BG was just random, but actually I like this one.
