Well, are you ready?

This is another semi-spontaneous picture, and proof that I still live up to my screen name here (yes, I am still addicted to drawing cat-girls!). I purposefully wanted to give her a tall, slender figure - maybe a little bit exaggerated but I'm pleased with the results. I'm very happy with the cel shading (especially her hair!) and I think I'm really getting comfortable with this coloring style. I find it very refreshing to be able to work in different styles and cel shading is a fun break from my more realistic style. When I drew her, that bikini just screamed out "yellow" and "fun," - certainly a more conservative design in comparison to other girls in my gallery but I wanted more cute and fun factor with this picture.

As for the title, a few years ago I did a couple of similar cat-girl pictures (one of whom was also wearing bright, yellow clothing) so I figured it was a good time to use that again (especially as Memorial Day weekend in the US is considered the unofficial start of summer). I dare say there will probably be more pictures like this - cat-girls + bikinis = win! Hope y'all enjoy and thanks for stopping by! =^-^=
