Description
Like probably many other children, I grew up with pokemon and I still enjoy playing the games every now and then. Besides that, there is one thing that makes these creatures great (wether you hate them or love them) and that is their design. It is simple yet everything is in it's place and fits together (well most of the time :'D). and that is what makes them memorable. I could show my mum a bunch of characters from all kinds of videogames and she would be able to pick out the pokemon. Personally, I think it is way easier to take a character and just slap a load of details on him/her/it than to come up with a simple yet unique design.It's just a little thing I try to keep in mind hehe.
With that whole "mega evolution"-thing going on I thought it would the right time to clean up some sketches I did last year, starting with those two because Torchic was the first pokemon I raised and Scizor just looks damn awesome. I really love them c:
