Ok, so I know this is very messy looking and isn't very good and all, but I still wanted to post it ...So I tried to draw a cat in a lineless and realistic way, but its not that good.
Ill probably be uploading more realistic-ish drawings, you know, to get more practice and stuff.

I think it's a good start,
I don't know how you went with that, but as you say lineless, I'd like to tell you that even realistic art needs to have outlines first.
I do not know a single good artist who doesn't make an outline first, so perhaps here was the problem.
Just had a look at this awesome WIP thing [link] it's no cat, but I guess you see what I mean.
I make outlines for my stuff too, think I have some in my gallery too if you wanna have a look.
I think getting the line and with it the form right is one of the hardest parts

Yeah, next time I try to draw some thing realistic/lineless I will draw an outline.
