This Work in Progress looks kinda funky! Do you know why?Well?
It's because it's almost 2 years old. D: 2 Years!!! And all this time Christian Bale has been lying in one of my drawers with unfinished drawings and other craptastic sketches.
So when I found him again ("hi thar Christian! What a (un)pleasant surprise!") I asked myself why I never finished this thing. And now I remember why
I really disliked / haaaaated to work on this drawing for multiple reasons. But now I wonder that, if I should give it another try, I might like to work on this and finish it after all. So I wanted to ask you guys and gals if you would like to see it finished, whenever that may be?If not, I could throw it back into my drawer until it decomposes into some kind of new material. Or give it to Sam so he can tear the drawing apart. Poor Christian.
I still need to work on a St. Nicholas handicraft for a family member, finish that commissioned drawing of Saria (which is almost finished by the way!), the Mike Portnoy drawing AND work on several other big projects and gifties and X-mas goodies and... *gulp* so many thingsies left to do.
So even if I plan to finish this drawing, it won't be done until end of next year (or the year after) I'm afraid. Just so you know.
BUT. I would love to know your opinions on this project! I'll be eagerly waiting!
P.S. all joking aside, I have such fun stuff to discuss. I'll try to write a new journal soon.

I come across old drawings sometimes and find myself wondering how different it would have turned out if I finished it today. I know it would be quite a difference to compare old and new...sounds interesting.

when one looks up "Christian" on DA, they get pictures of Jesus, and they get pictures of monsieur Bale here. This is one of the few drawings I have ever seen that brings me both. Thank you for being born sir, for you have blessed me with the visage of Jesus Bale.

YES you should finish this because you've got such a great reference of christian you can't let it go to waste. Whatever you do will always amaze the millions of viewers you've got so please no matter how long it takes do complete it. Shame on you for thinking of chucking something like this away@!!!@#!@

You have to follow your heart, its a beautiful piece already but if you don't want to finish it don't. But don't get rid of it, just put it to one side as a permanent WIP.

I think that you have already done too much of this picture Don't know how hard this is but... I believe that it's so fucking Hard. And all this work just to: "Oh well take this Sam"??
But in the other side, you have a lot to do, well, can you let it for later??, like "I'm not leaving you forever, like The I'm-Goin-to-kill-John Machine, I'll be back" Cuz... just trow it away... Oh God.
Leave it for later. Thats my advice.
