I'm in a sketchy mood today. More sketchiness in all its sketchialistic sketched glory.Needed some practice and distraction, so I drew a self portrait RDJ and Jude Law for my own and *thenizu 's pleasure. After having seen the new Sherlock Holmes movie I really started to appreciate Downey Jr and Law more and moarrr.
Did you guys know Stephen Fry's going to play Holmes' older brother in SH 2?

Done with 2H, B and 3B regular pencils. No erasers, except for RDJ's neck or Jude Law wouldn't fit on the page.

I love this. There really is something about sketchy artworks that draw me in. It's interesting to see the different meaning people take to sketchy, whether they use straight lights and crosshatch, or curvy lines with scribbling.

Amazing! I think you've captured robert downey jr really well! It fits him perfectly and looks life like, especially the expresssion in his eyes and same goes for jude law!

:3 And seeing the two sketches just made my mind exploded!! Wooonnderful sketches of the two! I really love their poses as well! I think they are ever rising on my list of favorite actors (well RDJ was always on my top 5 xD) but they really are amazing 8D. I mean Jude law with cold mountain to Sherlock and even his SNL sketches, that guy has got some true talent O__O

The way you have capture the whole look of Jude Law is absolutely amazing. Your shading is superb.
