Good tutorial! But I have a question about the beard hair. It appears in the picture that there are 'white' hairs, or more likely, hairs that the light is shining off of. How do you do these? Are you drawing around these lighter areas? A white gel pen? Teeny weeny eraser? Beard hair is the hardest for me because every hair is a different shade.

I'm so happy I've found such an incredible traditional artist that uses so much of the techniques that I have used (and many that I have not and will be using).

This is great- I'm currently working digitally but it's mega helpful anyway, I've wanted to do facial hair on some of my previous pictures and had to give it up because it looked shite (scribble). Eyebrows I had about right but it was helpful to know what it is I'm doing right anyway
