Today is the year 2104, 60 years after the most devastating conflict which brought the world back to the 60s, known as the Armageddon, a war between the United States and the colossal and powerful Siberian empire which ravaged Eurasia and Northern Africa and demolished entire cities, annihilated entire populations through mass slaughter, nuclear destruction and warfare. But this year is in no way similar to the year 2004, the differences are vast in amount; the United States is still a superpower, but not the only master of the world, a vast artificial empire covering Northern and Central Eurasia, named after Siberia but much bigger than the former region itself. Siberia has warmed up, and now is covered by swathes of agricultural lands, including in the eastern mountainous regions of Kolyma, Kamchatka and the Dzhugdzhur mountains. Technology has advanced faster than in the twenty-first century, the internet was reinvented in 2089 and two equivalents of YouTube created shortly, three years later, the Americans had "MyVid", Siberians had what we call "ShareYourWorld".

Now the context placed, we will meet Yuri, a nine years old over-sized Siberian girl who was born on the eastern coast of the volcanic Kamchatka peninsula. She and her family are part of an artificial race of humans known as Siberian, they are highly similar to the Japanese aside from their light to a young, pale skin, tall stature and elongated faces. To people who would travel from the early twenty-first century to the early twenty-second century, they would assume this girl is overweight, this appear to be true because of her size, but in modern Siberia and a few other neighboring regions around the Northern part of the world, being overweight is not possible by eating, as Siberians and other related ethnic groups were genetically modified to prevent the "pig instinct" of a certain part of the population, reduced the stomach's size and reduced hunger, instead, they were given genetically modified drugs for young children, with several but relatively insignifiant side effects and addiction being less common. A few of these drugs cause gain in body size but not weight gain, as the accumulated fat is solid but extremely light weighted, the face stays flat because fat does not accumulate on the cheeks or forehead, Yuri is one of the easily addicted children who's frequently seen smoking a pipe-glass, a glass tube with drug infused within boiling water, which is exactly what causes the gain but also presents with cognitive ameliorations, too much of it can cause seizures if not balanced by another drug, such as another one Yuri is also addicted to, this drug can cause mild euphoria but can also cause mood instability when abused.

Yuri also suffers from a deformity of the right ear, in which parts are missing if not most of the ear, except that she still has the capacity to put on earphones. She is never really teased, at least not in relation to her size or ear deformity, as they are not really paid attention to in Siberian society, which rather idolizes facial and hair perfection and tend to ignore other parts of the head. She also likes being barefoot at home as she likes the smell after taking of her shoes, and also admitted that she first wanted to gain in size by taking specific drugs. She later revealed in an interview that she is in love with herself and her body, and felt a connexion with places she visits and prefers to spend her time thinking about the world rather than being interested in people she believed to have had nothing important to reciprocally share with them.

Yuri feels like the perfect symbol of a romantic connexion with nature without having any morbid spiritual relation to the pig. Her corpulent body liberates the part of nature through her own looks, giving people like her a connexion to the natural world by watching her only, her body resonates the animal spirit in her, a pure symbol of animal instinct and primitivity, a return to the inner instincts. As she removes her shoes, she also liberates her animal spirit, her feet has the odour of a primitive animal, never abandoned nature and its beauty. Nature is in everyone as we are part of it.
