Swallow, beat, beat,Another beat goes by,
Beat, beat, I take a seat,
And hope my beats don't lie.
Beat, beat, I begin to sweat,
My palms shaking as I smooth my hair,
Beat, beat, I tremble as I let
The beats control my stare.
Beat, beat, gulp, swear,
So many questions from one so small.
Beat, beat, why do they care?
I shriek as I beat my fists against the wall!
Beat.... beat... I'm gasping for air.
The beats are coming to a halt.
Beat...........Beat.......I find I don't care
If the beats ending is all my fault.
One last beat... one last cry
Beat.......................Beat..............
Not enough air for another sigh.
Beat....Death was my greatest feat.

this is interesting, i love the last stanza, the anticipation and anxiety, the fear and outright, not denial, but rebellion.
