This resistance, this repression, this defeat,
This hoplessness, this constriction, this pain,
This deathly sickness that will never retreat
From a soul that used to be sane.

I cannot feel my fingers, the delectable numbness sets in
I pray silently for the feelings to fade away
As the death of my last hope shrieks and creates this din
I cannot feel the world today

The world that let me drown in this
Has no claim upon my sympathy.
This lack of feeling some would call remiss
And I laugh, and stare on the world that was never there for me, bleakly.

There's many people who would call me unfeeling
And would watch me in anger when no emotion showed.
Can they not see that I am dealing??
Living on time that I haven't even borrowed!

I didn't ask for this life, this existence, if you can call it that,
So why am I stuck in this world that constantly shoves me out?
Why am I fate's little, pathetic brat?
Why can't I seem to break free and breakout?

These lines begin to sicken me
The meaningless words swim blearily upon the screen.
My eyes grow dim, I CANNOT SEE!!
They hide the truth behind silkscreens.

I cannot see, I cannot see
Where has the truth gone?
I bear the removal bravely
Until I see the pawn

This piece describes me wonderfully,
With all of its' faults lain bare,
There are no boundaries,
To its' useless despair.

I am but a nothing, a no one, a freak
In a world where perfection is 'acceptable.'
My outlook, I'll admit, is rather bleak,
But atleast it is factful.

I lay my weary head upon the stony pillow,
That makes up the bottom of the sea,
I watch dreamily as the seaweed billows
Ensnaring the form that used to be me.
