Klunko had to fuel his addiction somehow. he picked up post raid looting and would sell whatever items he could collect to forneus and to the folks at Pilgrim's Passage
it was just another day, post raid, they god another damn village. its to be expected, they're in anura, heket doesn't believe in re-education. its why anura is klunko's favored looting region
he did his usual routine, find trinkets, find books, then find clothes. this one room in particular was sad, it was a nursery. there was no baby in sight though.
he spent some time rummaging through everything and when he hit the last drawer in the room, he opened it only to find a baby. a lamb.
the lambs eyes where wrapped, the mother must've known they were coming and wanted to prevent her child from seeing the carnage. regardless klunko loses it mentally. with shaky hands he picks up the lamb and cradles it in his wings.
his blood is pumping now and he feels on edge, everyone knows the prophecy and if he's found with this baby he'll get killed. but he cant leave it behind. so he packs up his bags, and leaves without finishing the trip.
klunko runs to the lonely shack, ratau will know what to do, he always has
