Boo ya, my first digital art drawing EVER
Really, this is more practice than anything, I just scanned an old picture that I found and screwed around with it for a couple hours to see what I could do with it. And this is the results. I don't have any of those fancy art programs like Adobe or Photoshop just yet, so this was done in Fireworks 8
Gosh I hope I didn't murder it or anything
And I don't know why there are white lines floating around in the blue background 
Try as I might, I couldn't get rid of 'em >_< NOTE: This is NOT that "surprise pic" that I was telling you about in my journal. That will come later

Oh yes, much better than this! This was only practice and it did turn out better than I thought it would have. Though, I still don't know how to do a ton of stuff and that means I'll have to ask around for advice from people who do this stuff on a regular basis.

That's an awesome first attempt at digital art, my friend! It looks really cool! I've been playing around with it a bit too, actually. Did you use a tablet for this, or just a mouse?
