ElloJust swingin' by to tell you all I am still alive.
And, oh yes. To submit some art.
That too.
I am most apologetic that I disappeared for three months(?) a while back there. A journal will follow soon to explain my absence, but I'll save the novel of an explanation for that, yes
In the meantime, I'll talk about this...........
Well, I guess all I can conjure to say about this is that it was supposed to be something simple....that turned into a more. ENGAGING project. That turned into me finally throwing in the towel after working on the eye alone for like, 4 hours. (was planning on doing something more with the fur, but EEEEERRRGH).
So I say this is finished for now. More work could be done to it, but I'm too lazy
And as you can tell, eyes forever fascinate me. For me, I've discovered they are the key to making a drawing come together. They can be oh-so difficult to get right, but the payoff is worth it

Ugh, that eye took me a while to figure out, lol. Like most of my work, I usually just go with it until something emerges from the rubble (lol).

YEAH, IKR? so many super talented people on here, like seriously... I get thrilled when I complete one of my drawings, than I go on here an look at some stuffs, it feels kinda like... WELL, BACK TO DA DRAWING BOARD.

Its just...EYES. They speak so much volume and depth without ever saying a word. I find myself drawn to them more so than any other content in a drawing, so it's natural for me to go crazy with them

Lol, still. I know too painfully well of my disappearing hiatuses from DA for months on end. They usually occur when important things come up in life, so I just Boop! Vanish for a while until they subside and I have time for art again. It's a very sophisticated process, you know
Oh gosh fingers. Heck no. I just cannot even with them hands and fingers are so flippin' hard for me to draw. I greatly admire those people who can draw them.

That stuff always happened to me when I want to do some simple drawing but it turned out more detailed than the work that I put more effort in to it XD. Amazing work on the eye they're really detailed!

I'm glad you think so! That's (kinda) what I was aiming for. I WAS going to do more with that fur, but it occurred to me that it probably would have taken away the impact of the eye a lot more if I did, which is the main focus of the drawing.

Oh my goodness, that eye took me forever lol. I did, however, learn A LOT from drawing it, even if it did kill a piece of me on the inside from attaining such knowledge
