Description I made this piece to cover up a poorly done cherry branch/flowers she had done on her ribs before.
About 6-7 hours of packing color in to do the job!

THANK YOU, LisaLotek!

Wouldn't it be fun if Tattoo art could be a DD?
See you this Summer!

I'm sure it will be one day. Maybe even one slipped by in the past? Surely, I would like to see some.

Those guys need to make a tattoo DD! I've never ever had a DD in 10+ years!

True. I'm a big fan of Martin Emond / Simon Bisley, and the way you did your thorns here, reminds me of them, especially Emond. <3

I dig how much is going on in that piece. Every time I look at it, I see something new, but it doesn't come off as cluttered at all.

Thanks Cyonx!

I think the "busy-ness" is a side effect of this being a cover up. My choices become make it busy or make it dark, usually.
I guess the trick is to try to keep as much variation in contrast as possible, so that some of the detail is lost in it's simplicity.

I'm glad you appreciated this tattoo, I enjoyed doing it.
