Concept art for Catmouth! A new creature for my Altered Awareness project.
These cats have a candle in their mouths that must be extinguished to kill them, the third stages of them have additional floating candles that must be dealt with.
Stage one Catmouth's are harmless but stages 2 and 3 will destroy you and absorb your soul to fuel their candles.

Thanks! I definitely wanted that slinky, sneaky feel cats have and aΒ cat that looks like it's maniacally laughing at you fills that creepy quota quite well.

Very cool, somewhat disturbing concepts. I imagine the silhouettes foaming at the mouth to complete the mental picture that's been etched into my mind. Awesome work!
